I have found that, as youth coaches, we have very little time to install extra components. Therefore, we need to maximize our efforts toward developing a philosophy and system wherein everything we do integrates easily otherwise our ability to execute the offense at a high level will be compromised. This book is designed to be used in conjunction with my first book Youth Double Wing: A Winning Youth Offense but the concepts can be easily adapted into any offense with a series based philosophy. Obviously the main focus of the book is the use of direct snap components that have made the single wing straight series so successful throughout football history. In fact, because of their fundamental soundness, there has been a recent reemergence of these concepts at the Division I and NFL levels. From the editor Michael Moreno: "Here we see an elegant expansion of ideas previously set forth, as well as the cultivation of new ideas, and complimentary schemes - all thoroughly presented in a book designed to be read cover-to-cover or as a broad reference source.
